The business of learning to bounce back
Resilience Leadership

Article published in the Financial Review on resilience and the ability to bounce back. The story mentions the resilience program Janellis led at Qantas over the past 18 months with a quote from John Valastro head of Regulatory affairs and resilience who says:
"Resilience might appear to be a new idea but it's about how an organisation intelligently anticipates and manages risk and change. A resilient business is one that can learn from its challenges and looks for opportunities to adapt and bounce back faster, smarter and stronger. To do this we put a great emphasis on exercising, testing and training our people and having systems and processes so that we are ready for when they're needed but also so that we can quickly learn from our experiences".
